With this new 38-metre vessel, Mangusta inaugurates a new chapter in the history of the Mangusta GranSport line and takes its vision of sportiness to the next level, blending performance, generous volumes, structural elegance and unparalleled versatility into the concept of a Sport Utility Yacht.
Presented as a première at the Miami International Boat Show, the Mangusta GranSport 38 is a groundbreaking yacht, introducing an original space architecture and an even more mature interpretation of the brand's DNA and core values that have made Mangusta GranSport success over the years.

It is not merely an evolution of the range, but the expression of a vision that speaks to dynamic, contemporary, international owners who are seeking top performances, long range, and efficiency without compromising on comfort. This craft is the epitome of how power, style, and balance can successfully co-exist in one harmonious concept.

Built in composite material at the Viareggio shipyard, the new Mangusta GranSport 38 completes the current range and reaches out in particular to owners wishing to enjoy the sea to the full thanks to the limited fuel consumption, emissions, and vibrations guaranteed by the use Volvo Penta IPS propulsion systems.

THE CONCEPT: DUAL ASYMMETRY, NEW PERSPECTIVES

At the heart of the Mangusta GranSport 38 are larger-than-average interiors obtained thanks to an ingenious dual asymmetry developing on two decks: one walkway only, on the port side, on the Main Deck; and one walkway only, on the starboard side, on the Upper Deck.
Such an original architectural choice is not merely a design exercise, but a cutting-edge technical solution capable of combining wide volumes, elegance, and a sporty character.

Just like in art and architecture, perspective is purposefully sought for to endow space with deep meaning and a unique identity.
Every line, every opening, every connection between different environments is tailored to offer unique points of view, making onboard life an ever-evolving, multifaceted experience.

LIVING THE SEA WITH NO BOUNDARIES

On the Mangusta GranSport 38, space architecture revolves around the principle of a seamless living experience – a design concept which harmoniously combines unique perspectives and free-flowing spaces to offer uninterrupted views of the horizon thanks to the use of minimal structures and wide glazed surfaces.

A smooth indoor-outdoor continuity, airy interiors, and a carefully designed layout are key to attain such a truly seamless onboard life.

Each area has been designed to ensure smooth, natural transitions between cruising, dynamic activities and cosier atmospheres, in a harmonious interplay of open spaces, airiness, and depth.

On the Main Deck, one sidewalk has been removed to extend the salon to starboard and obtain a large living area directly facing the horizon.
The Main Salon is a cocooned area that also enjoys completely open views on the sides and towards the aft cockpit. Uninterrupted floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces blur the boundaries between indoor spaces and the surrounding seascape, creating the magical sensation of gently floating above the water.
Also on the Main Deck, the full-beam master stateroom is a real terrace extending over the sea, perfectly in keeping with the overall architectural concept of the yacht.

The same design approach is found on the Upper Deck, where the layout asymmetry mirrors the one of the Main Deck, creating more usable space and making indoor-outdoor transitions even smoother.

Here, innovative features like the glass uprights become true sporty design elements that maintain visual continuity, dissolving physical boundaries and creating a unison of surfaces, volumes, and brightness.

The Upper Salon opening out towards infinity, the generous al-fresco dining area, and Mangusta's signature infinity pool at the bow enable guests to savour every moment at sea, experiencing pure freedom embraced by natural light.

The Sun Deck has been conceived as a 'private lookout', an exclusive, intimate spot to take in all the beauty of the sea in the utmost privacy.

Completing a layout aimed at maximising ease of movement across the boat and offering an unparalleled onboard experience is the aft beach club on two levels.

From the huge full-beam cockpit with a bar and two large C-shaped sofas on the Main Deck, a central staircase leads to the aft platform, furnished with two sun loungers with generous integrated storage compartments facing the sea. The two opening side wings and the aft 'transformer' further enhance usable space, creating an open, versatile convivial area fully immersed in the beauty of the sea.

The garage opens on a side and can fit two jet skis and a tender of up to 5.5 metres in length.

LUXURY LIVING, MADE PERSONAL

The new Mangusta GranSport 38 can host up to 12 guests in 5 cabins plus 7 crew members accommodated in 4 dedicated cabins, offering excellent comfort, privacy, and bespoke interior design. In this case, interiors have been developed in exclusive cooperation with designer Alberto Mancini.

As in each and every Mangusta project, the starting point is always the brand's 'tailor-made' philosophy. The entire creative process revolves around the Owner, who is constantly and directly involved to ensure that their needs, habits and lifestyle are flawlessly captured and reflected in every detail of the yacht.

From layout configuration to onboard atmospheres, all the way to the selection of materials and individual finishes, Mangusta's objective is always to shape each Owner's true, personal dream taking a unique perspective.

The new Volvo Penta IPS Professional platform – consisting of four Volvo Penta D13 1000 HP engines coupled with two propulsion pods – allows for a more compact engine room and therefore more onboard living space, pushing the new Mangusta GranSport 38 to a maximum speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots, and delivering a range of up to 600 nautical miles.
