FOURTH MANGUSTA 165 UNIT NOW LAUNCHED

Saturday 21 February in Viareggio saw the launch of the fourth unit of the Mangusta 165 REV. This model is the contemporary evolution Mangusta's Maxi Open iconic philosophy, skilfully combining sporty style and design solutions that take onboard liveability to the next level.

The launching ceremony was attended by the Owner, his family, and the entire Mangusta team involved in the vessel's construction.

Built in composite material, the Mangusta 165 REV epitomises Overmarine Group's long-standing experience in composite ship building and is the flagship of the brand’s Maxi Open line. Pushed by four Rolls Royce 2.600 HP engines coupled with the Kongsberg-Kamewa water jet propulsion system, it can reach a maximum speed of 35 knots noiselessly and without the slightest vibrations. Fuel consumption has also been reduced by approximately 30% against the previous series by optimising both hull and propulsion.

Lobanov Design and Overmarine's technical department have joined their creative forces to develop this model's exterior lines, reinterpreting the classic profile of Mangusta open yachts in a more dynamic and contemporary style. Volumes have been rearranged to create bright, airy interiors where floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces ensure a smooth continuity between indoor and outdoor areas and a constant dialogue with the sea, capturing the very essence of the Mangusta DNA.

As on every Mangusta yacht, the interiors are fully-custom and have been pencilled by the Shipyard's design team in cooperation with architect Marcello Pianosi POM home, and each detail now reflects their painstaking pursuit of a harmonious blend of elegance, functionality, and bespoke solutions.

In the salon on the main deck, the full-height panoramic glazing and the side fold-down balconies magnify space and ensure visual continuity with the surrounding landscape.

The 92 sq. m. (990 sq./ft.) master stateroom, located on the main deck, is unmatched in the
yacht segment below 499 GT in both size and layout. It develops over two levels and is
flawlessly integrated in the hull.

The 5 guest cabins, including the full-beam VIP one, can be found on the lower deck.

The bow hosts a generous lounge area furnished with sofas, sun pads and a Jacuzzi, while the
sundeck has a bar and living areas that make it just perfect for pleasant convivial moments.

This model's most distinctive feature, however, is the large aft beach club, conceived as a true
lounge on the sea. The garage, accessed on the side, allows to fit and easily handle an
approximately 6 m water-jet tender and two jet-skis.

This fourth Mangusta 165 REV unit will be cruising the Mediterranean sea and will be available for chartering, offering guests an unforgettable experience where comfort and stunning performances go hand in hand with a strong design identity.
